GE Energy Financial Services
Raghuveer Kurada is GE Energy Financial Services’ Global Capital Advisory Leader based in London. In this role, Raghuveer oversees third-party capital raising activities, including GE’s relationships with Export Credit Agencies, Development Financial Institutions and other debt and equity capital providers globally.
Prior to this role, Kurada was Managing Director for GE Energy Financial Services’ Global Markets execution teams, focused on expanding GE’s global energy investment footprint. Notable deals he led during this time include the unit’s acquisition of 25% interest in YPF EE, the largest independent power producer in Argentina, and the $1.5B Merkur Offshore Wind Farm Germany.
Kurada joined GE in 1993 and has held various roles in structuring and risk management. During his time at GE Energy Financial Services, he participated in a wide variety of structured investments, ranging from debt and lease financing to preferred stock and equity deals in the United States. He established GE Energy Financial Services’ Asia operations in 2007 and led its investments in KSK Power’s holding company, Greenko PLC, Welspun Renewables and financing of other Asian power developers.
Kurada holds a Master’s degree in Business from Columbia Business School in New York, as well as a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
